About Speak Up Sis
Speak Up Sis, LLC is a personal and professional learning and development company specializing in responsible communication. We provide educational experiences that help individuals and organizations strengthen how they communicate, particularly when conversations are difficult, uncomfortable, or high-pressure.
Founded in 2018, Speak Up Sis began with a commitment to creating opportunities for authentic conversations and community connection. Over time, that commitment has developed into a broader focus on communication education, professional development, and facilitated learning experiences.
Today, through workshops, training, coaching, and facilitated learning experiences, our work brings people together to examine how they communicate, consider the impact of their words, and develop practical skills they can apply in their personal and professional lives.

Our Work
Our work is grounded in education, reflection, and practical application. We create opportunities for participants to explore real communication challenges, examine familiar patterns, and practice approaches they can use beyond the learning environment.
Whether working with individuals, groups, or organizations, we emphasize active participation, thoughtful discussion and the application of communication principles to everyday situations.
Our Approach
At Speak Up Sis, we recognize that communication involves more than the words people choose. Our thoughts, values, experiences, emotions, and relationships all influence how we communicate, particularly when situations are difficult or uncomfortable.
We approach communication education with an emphasis on awareness, personal responsibility, and intentional action. Rather than offering scripted responses or one-size-fits-all solutions, we help people understand what influences their communication, recognize the choices available to them, and practice communicating responsibly in different situations.
Our goal is not to teach people to control conversations or the responses of others. It is to equip them to take responsibility for how they communicate and remain engaged when conversations require clarity, honesty, and courage.
