Known professionally as Angel Charmaine, I teach individuals and organizations to communicate clearly and responsibly when conversations are difficult, uncomfortable, or high-pressure.

My work focuses on practical communication education that helps people navigate challenging conversations with greater clarity, confidence, and responsibility.
Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Education in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.
​
My professional experience includes teaching in public schools, Department of Defense schools, and international educational settings. I also served as an Army Wounded Warrior Advocate, supporting severely wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families.
​
Today, as the founder of Speak Up Sis LLC, I draw on my experience in education, advocacy, and professional development to design and facilitate practical communication learning experiences for individuals and organizations.
My Philosophy
Communication is more than the words we choose. It involves taking responsibility for how we express ourselves, particularly when conversations are difficult, uncomfortable, or high-pressure.

My approach is grounded in a principle that guides my work, and the principle is that your presentation is your responsibility. While we cannot control how others interpret our words, we can take responsibility for communicating clearly, respectfully, completely, timely, professionally, and honestly.

Communication skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened. Effective communication education should give people opportunities to examine their habits, consider how those habits affect their interactions, and practice communicating differently.

This philosophy guides the learning experiences I develop and facilitate through Speak Up Sis, LLC, with an emphasis on practical skills people can apply in their personal, educational, and professional environments.
