I am so excited to be apart of Chrysalis community and looking forward to building lasting relationships. My name is Latoya Washington hailing from the small city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I am a published Author, blogger, worshipper, and servant in the Kingdom of God. I have always loved writing! As a child, I would write short stories, poems and would use words to encourage my peers. Whenever challenges and obstacles would arise, I would use a pen and paper to help me persevere. Facing the blistering winds of life and express it on paper. After experiencing years of abuse, homelessness, rejection, loss and near death, my ability to write increased. God began to deposit words not only for short stories, but I began to write songs, sermons, plays and children's stories. Jesus Christ’s love and correction helped to bring complete healing and wholeness in my life. God purified, refined, and defined areas in my heart that were buried and hidden.

Alongside my husband we own a Christian apparel line "RhemaCreationz" that creatively the word of God through t-shirts, books, puzzles, and much more! RhemaCreationz is a brand designed to equip, motivate, encourage, and exalt others with the Word of God. By incorporating scripture to creatively express God’s will and plan for his people. RhemaCreationz officially launched September 2018 and grown tremendously these past three years. We provide free monthly virtual therapy sessions through our YouTube channel. We work with a licensed Christian Counselor and provide free resources for families. Over the past year, RhemaCreationz has collaborated with agencies such as Capitol Area Coalition Against Homelessness (CACHE) and Saving our Sons and Daughters (S.O.S.A.D) to provide resources for Harrisburg area local youth. RhemaCreationz hosts quarterly events which include Couples paint night, Interpersonal Communication skills workshop, and Family Skate night. In April of 2021 RhemaCreationz launched Broken Vessels Podcast. Broken Vessels is a spin off of my first published book and provides a platform for men and women of God to share their testimonies.
